Venezuela is a country on the northern coast of South America; it comprises a continental mainland and several islands in the Caribbean Sea. The Republic of Venezuela is the sixth largest country in South America. It borders Guyana to the east, Brazil to the south, Colombia to the west, and Caribbean to the north. Tobago and Trinidad, Barbados, Curacao, Aruba, Bonaire, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and the Leeward Antilles lie just north, off the Venezuelan coast.
